evenTwo aterriza en Estados Unidos e Italia

evenTwo arrives to the United States and Italy

evenTwo arrives to the United States and Italy

evenTwo has reached a distribution agreement for creating evenTwo USA, that will exclusively represent and promote the event apps of the Spanish leading company. The operations will be based in Miami (Florida), from where service and support will be provided for the whole country. At the same time, the event software company StudioVisio will be exclusively promoting evenTwo in Italy from their headquarters in Florence. Thanks to this alliance, the Italian company introduces quality native apps in their offer while evenTwo gains a valuable asset with a solid project and an experienced team on-site.

United States is the main market in the MICE sector and evenTwo has already developed apps for events organized there for clients such as SAP, WOBI and The Protein Society. In addition, after the steps taken in Germany, France and Portugal, Italy was one of the main target markets to pursue the expansion through Europe.

Undoubtedly, having team members on the terrain is key to face the strong competition, acquire new clients and provide a better service. With these actions, evenTwo intensifies its presence in the American and European continents and continues with its internationalization, which already accounts for a distribution network present in more than 10 countries.

WOBI will have an evenTwo Multi-App for all their events in 2018

evenTwo has developed a Multi-App for World of Business Ideas (WOBI), a leading global business content hub. The WOBI events are known for their world class status, and include the prestigious World Business Forum in the cities of New York, Sydney, Madrid, Milan, Mexico, Lima and Bogotá.

These events, which gather thousands of attendees every year, will be hosted by some of the most influential speakers in the business environment, such as Arianna Huffington, Michael Porter, Steve Wozniak and Randi Zuckerberg. Thanks to the partnership between WOBI and evenTwo, attendees will be able to access complete information of their event, and will also have the opportunity to establish valuable contacts through the networking functions.

They will only need to download the WOBI Multi-App and select the event they are attending in order to access its agenda, receive notifications, answer surveys, download documents and check every detail about the event. On top of that, if they register with their e-mail address or LinkedIn account, attendees will have their own profile, with which they may access the comment wall, send messages to fellow attendees or pose questions to the speakers.

evenTwo already developed the WOBI events apps in 2017. However, this time the main change is that they will be integrated in a Multi-App, meaning that users will have access to all the events they are attending from a single App.

(Definitive?) changes in Apple’s guidelines

What was going on with Apple?

At the end of August 2017, we published important information on Apple’s new guidelines and how they affected our sector, companies that create customized mobile Apps for events. You can read it here.

New change on Apple’s guidelines from December 20th

On December 20th, Apple published a major update on these new guidelines, lowering the initial level of restrictions they wanted to impose.

In summary, this results in a wider range of options when it comes to publishing Apps for events. From our point of view, the fastest and most efficient option is to publish your event in eventsPlace, a multi-App launched on January 9th that enhances the experience of the event attendees. Also, this change will allow us to continue working with those customers who require an App for a “white label” event by publishing it with their developer account.
